WebJun 25, 2014 · 06-25-2014 08:36 AM. No problems with the KitKat upgrade on my S4 Galaxy. The OS seems to run smoother and I have been getting better battery life since I upgraded on April 25th. Call and data reception is about the same as before and I have not had any dropped calls before or since the upgrade (I have had the phone since October).
