Webb8 juli 2024 · If you have abs and traction control it very well could be the electric control valve for those systems. There are solenoids inside that stick, it wont show a code unless the electric side dies. If the valve sticks it just wont let fluid go to the brake or possibly return from the brake depending on which one sticks. 3 people found this helpful. Webb29 juli 2011 · Not sure about the chain and sprocket noise, but if the rear brake locked up that hard, maybe the rear axle did move to the rear, and over tighten the chain. Not worried about the output shaft, they are very strong. And if it was bent, there would probably be a noticeable vibration from it. edit: ok, take two. Webb8 juni 2024 · Hello on my 2013 ktm 300xc the brakes are sticking. When I say this, after 5-10 minutes of riding, the brakes will gradually run tighter and tighter until I suppose lock up! They were fine before I replaced the fluid, adjusted the pedal, and put in new pads. It gets annoying bleeding them back and forth, it is the only way to reset them.

Webb15 maj 2024 · After locking up the rear wheel, when I opened the bleeder for the rear outside pistons, nothing happened; wheel was still locked up. Thus, the problem wasn't with the outside pistons sticking nor the rear master cylinder which is directly plumbed (red line) to the rear outside pistons. david nance wilmington ncWebb28 aug. 2024 · As for the rears, they are still locking up. Don’t do it every time but will when I apply hard brake. Unfortunately, you should re-tighten the rear brakes so that they are at least where they should be so you can continue tracking down the underlying problem.
