WebJan 28, 2014 · I recently assembled an 01 suzuki jr 80 that i got in a wet carbaord box completely dissasembled. Fast foreward and its assembled but will not run correctly. My main issues are that i cant get it to idle even when hot no matter how much i F@$# with it and that with the choke on when it starts it revs about as hard as it will go. WebMar 12, 2009 · With the ring 15mm down in the cylinder, perpendicular to the bore, the ideal ring end gap range is 0.20mm - 0.40mm with 0.80mm being the maximum wear limit. If money is not a huge issue, I personally would replace the entire top end - piston, rings, wrist pin, wrist pin bearing and wrist pin clips and of course, all related gaskets.
